Our Service Commitment
Updated April 2026
When you hire St. Simons Island Junk Removal, this is what you can count on. These are not marketing claims — they are the rules our crew works by on every job, and what we ask you to hold us to.
Our commitment to you
We show up when we said we would. We handle your property with care. We quote you before we start. We dispose of what we haul responsibly. That is the whole job, and that is what we promise.
What "upfront pricing" actually means
We give you an all-in quote before any work begins. Our pricing is based on the volume of space your items take up in our truck, not by weight and not by the hour. That means:
- No hourly meter ticking up while we work
- No surprise "dump fees" or "fuel surcharges" at the end
- No upsells at the door — what we quote is what you pay
- If the job turns out to be larger than what you described, we tell you the adjusted price before loading another item, and you decide how to proceed
What "careful crews" actually means
Your property gets treated the way we would want ours treated:
- Floor protection on entry paths, especially for estate and cleanout work
- Careful doorway and stair-rail work when moving oversized items
- Dollies and pads for heavy appliances and furniture
- Disassembly on site when a piece cannot cleanly clear the route it came through
- A broom sweep of the area we worked in before we leave
- A walk-through with you before we drive off — if something is not right, we fix it then
What "responsible disposal" actually means
Every load we pick up gets sorted before it gets disposed of. Our order of preference:
- Donation first. Clean, usable furniture, appliances, and household goods are routed to local donation channels when condition allows.
- Metal recycling next. Appliances, scrap steel, and other metals are taken to recyclers when we can.
- Appropriate licensed facility for the rest. What cannot be donated or recycled goes to the right licensed facility — never a ditch, never a back road.
For more on our disposal approach, see our Sustainability page.
If something is not right
Call us. Directly. That is the whole procedure. If we damaged something through our own negligence, if the work is not what we quoted, or if the experience was off in any way, we want to know first — before you leave a review, before you post about it — because it is the only way we can make it right.
Most issues can be resolved with a phone call. We will come back out if that is what is needed.
What this is — and what it is not
This is a commitment to quality work. It is not a warranty on the items we remove (we do not warrant disposed items) and it is not a legal guarantee of any specific outcome. Our formal service terms are on our Terms of Service page. This page is the promise we make — the terms page is the framework around that promise.
